    and Mbeki insists “No crisis”

    Patience urged on Zimbabwe

South African president Thabo Mbeki has urged world leaders to have more patience with Zimbabwe after he met for talks with Robert Mugabe.

Mr Mbeki travelled to Harare to meet the Zimbabean president for 90 minutes after he refused to attend emergency talks with African leaders in Zambia.

He insisted “there is no crisis in Zimbabwe”, and urged leaders to await the outcome of recent elections.
