Tsvangirai grows fat on lies
Ten kilometres out of Chegutu the melancholic sign post for none other than “Madzongwe Road” tells a story in itself. It is the road to our farm. The sign is bent and faded and tired looking. Maybe it looks a bit like us. If the Prime Minister were to turn off here, the first white-owned farm he would come to belongs to Retief Benade. This farm, like every other, is also under siege. There is no chance of police assistance for the farmer here as the invader is a senior policeman himself. What else can one expect in what has become a police state? Mr Benade realised he would not win. In desperation, last month, he sold his entire beef and dairy herd of a few hundred animals, including his breeding cows. They did not go to another breeder, they went for slaughter. No one buys breeding herds in countries where investments are not protected. Breeding herds are long-term investments – phenomena that have become obsolete in the Zimbabwe of today. Mr Benade has taken his expertise to Zambia. To go elsewhere in Zimbabwe would be asking for trouble. The farm invasions are wide-spread. That is the undeniable truth.

85% of all stud cattle have been slaughtered since the land invasions started in 2000. About the same percentage has been the case in the dairy industry. 100 Years of genetics has basically been destroyed. 65% of Zimbabwe’s wildlife have met the same fate. Huge areas of sensitve eco systems have been damaged and could be beyond repair.
All this to keep one man and a bunch of thugs in power.
What’s worse, we have a Prime Minister, refering to current land invasions, who says he can count them on one hand. How disgraceful can you get?

Morgan Tsvangirai has quickly lost the confidence of the people that supported him and has conveniently forgot the MDC’s founding principles.
He made a huge fool of himself on his overseas travels whilst being Mugabe’s “Lap-Dog / Tea Boy / Beggar”.
Western diplomats have murmured – “If this man is their best advocate of intelligence and sanity, then God save Zimbabwe”.
Morgan Tsvangirai and the likes of Welshman Ncube, have become Mugabe’s willing deluded buffoons on the Zanu PF denialist self-serving gravy train.
Anyone who gives aid to Zimbabwe can be assured that it will not be used as intended, but rather plundered by the conjoined hierarchy.
